How do you deal with friends or family members that does not take your nutritional advice. The reason why they do not take your nutritional advice is because they have a fix idea that they are unwilling to look at something else – focused on their view point. Usually when you have the fix idea about something, you are not flexible in think about new data despite the results.

Reasons:
• It basically conflicts to what they already know.
• People that have this fixed idea that they have to be right about and cannot be wrong.
• New data invalidates their information.
False Information that Prevents Results:
• Eat Less – Lose Weight
• Everything in Moderation
• Fat causes Fat
• 8 Glasses of Water (H2O) to be hydrated
• Only MD’s can give you information on health
In summary, when you run into friends and family not taking your nutritional advice just realize they are a sitting on a fixed idea and the more you make them wrong the worse it is going to get. So you have to be gentle. You have to help them understand it. They most likely have some huge misunderstandings. For example, if you’re trying to tell them about cholesterol, they most likely do not know the definition or the purpose cholesterol. Or weight loss they do not know what insulin is. They do not understand what metabolism is. Or what a calorie is. First help them understand that so they can actually be a little freer to look at your viewpoint.

Why Your Friends & Family Are Not Doing Keto & Intermittent Fasting?
People do not do what they do not understand. If you try to explain ketogenic diet by telling them what to eat – this is a mistake because you did not tell them what it is and why they need to do it. So no action is going to take place.
Explain it like this:
The ketogenic diet: The ketogenic diet is a condition, which allows your body to burn excess fat off your body and use fat as your primary fuel. Ketones are the by-product of fat burning. The reason WHY you need to do it because ketones are a superior fuel source for your brain, your heart, and your hormones. It will improve your mood, your memory, and your energy.
Intermittent Fasting: Intermittent fasting is not a diet. It is a frequency of eating and not eating. The reason WHY you need to do it is to trigger the key hormone for fat burning and anti-aging.
Once this is understood, and if they are interested, then explain how to do it.
Go ahead and apply this and see if you can get your friends and family members to actually do it through educating them on really what it is.
